McIntire School of Commerce Transfer

Hey guys! I am a current student at the George Washington University and I'm looking to transfer to another school with a higher quality business program. My father is a McIntire alum and my mother also attended UVa. I noticed that the mean GPA at McIntire was slightly higher than my GPA (3.8 vs. 3.72), but I was wondering if my other credentials give me a shot.

Information:
School: George Washington University
GPA: 3.72
SAT: 1300
Relevant ECs: Summer Internship at major consulting firm; internship at lobbying firm on K street.
Legacy Status: Double legacy, father graduated from McIntire.

All input is appreciated!!!

You mean 1300 CR+M or 1300 total?

CR+M. The McIntire School does not publish statistics regarding the average Writing SATs of its transfer students.

Also quick note, I just got my final exam scores back, and it is now very likely that I will have the mean 3.8 gpa when applying!

Legacy means that you’re treated as an in-state transfer by McIntire’s admissions office.
