<p>Most medical schools offer a MPH that you can take a fifth year to get during medical school. The MPH would be valuable if you were looking to go into hospital/school administration, public health, or health policy. I’m sure there are other reasons too.</p>
<p>My medical school offers an MPH that’s done concurrently with the first two years. You can also take an additional year (between the 2nd and 3rd, or between the 3rd and 4th) to do it.</p>
