So I'm a guy who likes to eat lunch and dinner. I can go home on the weekends to eat/stock for food. Which flex plan do you guys recommend? Also, and more importantly, do the meals carry over if you don't eat 5,7,or 10 (depending on which plan) in the given week? Thanks.

I know the meals don’t carry over. It refreshes every Monday.

If you’re going back every so often, then either flex 7 or 10 is what I would say you should get.

Lol I personally think you shouldn’t get the flex max if you’re gonna go back home to restock on food or something. But then again, this is my opinion. So…yeah xD

I decided to get flex 10. My first choice was to get flex max but my parents didnt like spending extra 1grand.

the meals dont carry over.

From what I hear, the dorm food is disgusting. So even though the flex 10 give you 3 more meals a week than flex 7 for only $90 more, is it worth getting flex 7 for the extra $150 dining dollars?

I would say get a little more than you think you need; better safe than sorry.

A friend of mine has Flex 5 and he was out of dining dollars by the middle of winter quarter. It happens a lot because people end up not liking dorm food and instead depending on dining dollars. He ended up changing to Flex 7 (or 10?) and paying more. You kind of have to be intent on eating at the dorms pretty regularly and budgeting your dining dollars really well.

Alright thanks. I was going to get flex 7 but if I should get a little more to be safe I’ll go with flex 10.
