This is my son's last year at Yale. I am amazed at how fast the years at Yale, and elsewhere, seem to be going. This year my son is sharing an apartment with two other students, close to campus. Since he doesn't live in the dorms we could get him any meal plan, undergrad or grad. He just wants to purchase Eli Bucks which give you a 10% discount . If you pay without having a meal plan the food costs more. We are trying to decide weather to buy a meal plan or to get Eli Bucks only. He says that he'll have breakfast at the apartment, lunch propably on campus and for dinner it could be at the apt. or on campus. My question is if anyone has researched this and compared prices buying a meal pan versus just buying Eli Bucks.
Thank you!
