Can you compare these two classes? Which is harder/easier? Is 211 easier? Which one of these classes would you choose and why?

copied and pasted from one of my posts:

211 try to get james barber, hes by far the best professor i’ve had. No dirty tricks on exams, very very straight forward yet somehow class avg still end up in 60%±.
235 usually has pretty good profs, mine was taught by claus borgnakke, whos a very good prof, but exam can be slightly unfair.
240 david dowling, exams are pretty hard, but it’s all relative cuz the avg is curved to a B-. I dont think he’ll be teaching next fall, but richard scott(who i heard is pretty awful, but has easy exams) always teaches 240.
250 you don’t really get to pick if you’re taking it in fall. John hart’s design project is ridiculously demanding but rewarding if your robot works(my ME350 project is very simple compared to 250), the winter term 250 project is easier but more lame of course. ME250 is my hardest class so far.

I got A- in both 211 and 240. I think 240 is harder, especially with dowling (i don’t think he teaches it very often). Typically you’ll end up with Scott, who is notorious for giving out easy A’s but you won’t learn anything.

211 = statics. Sum of forces equals 0 lol.

240 = dynamics. sum of forces DOES not equal 0!!! dynamics is definitely harder as a subject. I’m not an ME, but we had to take the equivalent statics/dynamics classes for my major.
