I found this really good video on ME,

Mechanical Engineering: Expectations vs. Reality
<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hNejutAMiTE">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hNejutAMiTE</a></p>

These 2 guys talk about what they thuoght ME was going to be like vs what it is really like. It got "HOT" on reddit under /r/engineering, I thought I would share it here

Can any ME's confirm what they say?

For comparison, my job feel like this many days - <a href=“The Expert (Short Comedy Sketch) - YouTube”>The Expert (Short Comedy Sketch) - YouTube;

I did not watch all of of it, 20 mins of two guys talking to a camera is hard for me to watch. I kept skipping 15-20 seconds ahead just to get through it. But from what I did see, a lot of their complaints are not justified. Want hands on work? Then go find it. Want to work in aerospace? Then deal with the fact the location choices are limited. Want more analytic work? Then you will likely give up on some hands on. All of their complaints have solutions and may require some compromise.

But the video you linked is a sketch comedy video, that doesn’t really give me a realistic view on ME. Can you tell me something more concrete?
