<p>I was accepted to both Purdue University and the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign for mechanical engineering. I know both are good, (they're ranked 6 and 7 by US News for ME) and I'm trying to decide between the two. With all factors considered including education, campus life, and opportunities at the school, which should I choose?</p>

<p>Have you visited both schools? While similar in many ways they have different feels while visiting. D loved one and never considered the other. I won’t tell you which because it doesn’t matter to you. If you have no preference after visiting then cost will be the only deciding factor.</p>
