Hi, I will graduate this year with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. My GPA will be around 3.7. I have taken the GRE and got scores of:

Q: 720 V: 440 W: Did not receive it yet

I am looking to get admitted to a good mechanical engineering school, I dont know if I could get into top tier universities with my GRE but what universities out there do you suggest? I`ve been accepted into the following so far:

Louisiana State University
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
Florida Atlantic University
Florida Institute of Technology
Milwaukee School of Engineering

Which other universities do I have a good chance of getting admitted in?

Hey guys, can any of you give me any information as to what colleges I have a chance of getting into based on my GRE scores?

I’ve got the same GPA but a slightly better GRE (800V 420Q) and I got into UCSD with full aid. It’s far from being in the top tier but I’m pretty happy.

Anyway your GRE is bad. The 720V is surely a deal breaker, plus the total is below 1200 which is said to be the common cut off line. Try to retake it if at all possible. Your app will heavily depend on recs and SoP etc as well. Good luck!

I understand that my GRE scores are ok but I am not looking at the top-tier. I`m going for a second-tier university that offers good mechanical or aeronautical engineering programs. Any suggestions?
