So I’m currently a sophomore and taking Mechanical Engineering. It really sounds cool and all and I know the versatility it will give me someday when I look for a job. But recently, I’ve been intrigued with the possibility of taking Civil Engineering. It looks fun on the field and the course outline looks fun too. But my advisor told me that Civil isn’t as good as Mechanichal in the job market. So which is the better choice? Please don’t say the clićhe “whatever makes me happy.” I’m not really that concerned with the money. I want the job that would make me excited to wake up in the morning, something fulfilling, and the job that will give me stability. Also, which will give me the better “work-life balance”?
