<p>I was going to a horrible university the first two years of college, where I ended up with a 3.0 GPA. Then I transferred and the next two years I averaged a 3.65 GPA. I do have a rock-solid personal statement which I am quite proud of, and got a 31 on the MCATs. Chances?</p>

<p>@TomSrOfBoston Good point… My claim though is legitimate. There was a lot of racism, even got one professor in trouble.</p>
<p>Secondly, I have a really good track record of EC’s. I founded a company (non-medical), researched at a computational bio lab (medical related), filed for patents on my research (both medical and non-medical), etc. I just had a terrible start.</p>
