I've been accepted to JHU class of 2012 to their Interdisciplinary degrees program, and I think I will combine psych + phil + pre-med regardless of how many years of studying it may require. Anyway, I've been wondering how grim the reality of proceeding to a medical school probably for a psychiatry as an international student from Johns Hopkins undergraduate. Yeah, the individual efforts do matter, but practically speaking, people told me it was impossible to get into a medical school as an int student.

If what they told me is true, I will probably end up going to NYU Stern, study finances, make a decent amount of money off of playing with numbers, and forever regret giving up a long-time dream. Please let me know if you have any commet on this. And let's be practical. I really don't need to go through anymore hope-imbuement process.
