Say i skip bio 1 in college because of an AP credit; do i have to take bio 1 ANYWAY because the med school i want to go to requires me to take it in college?

if thats true whats the point of AP credits if you have to take the class in college since they are required for med school?

You have to take a year of core biology. You could skip over Bio 1 and 2 and do Cell Biology and Genetics instead, for example. (So long as they have labs.)

The point of AP Credits is to impress colleges for admissions purposes. Even if you could skip over the first-year courses, you usually don't want to.

AP credits really count for people who just want to graduate college. those who want to pursue onto grad school, especially med school,..dont count on using your ap credits for bio.

ap credits for math and english will probably be ok.

^ nope - vast majority of med schools will not take AP credit for satisfaction of any pre-req (which math and english both are). On AMCAS, I'm pretty sure my AP units just went in as "undifferentiated elective" units or something to that effect, because thats how they were listed on my college transcript.
