Med school aspirants may also try medical schools in the Philippines. Why Philippines?

The Philippines is a great location for international students; transportation is cheap, the food is excellent, accommodation is first-class and plentiful, the standard of education is high and English is widely spoken.

Other reasons why the Philippines is considered a wonderful place to study in:

·*The Philippines has a fun and friendly student culture.

·*Philippine university qualifications are internationally recognized when seeking employment or further study at leading international universities.

·*The costs of studying and living are much lower as compared to some other countries and there are abundant merit and need-based scholarships as well. The students can work part time while they are studying there.

·Teaching, training and researchfacilities in many Philippine universities are world-class in terms of state-of-the-art laboratories and classrooms, outstanding libraries and modern technology.

-
2 - University of Santo Tomas / Cebu Institute of Medicine

3 - Cebu Institute of Medicine / U of Santo Tomas

All the rest have basically have the same standard and prestige. But i'll give a slight preference to De La Salle amongst the remaining schools because it is a school for the very rich. In other words, if the University of the Philippines (UP) is seen as the Harvard of the US, then De La Salle is like the "Princeton" of the US.

De La Salle University -- very good standard, excellent facilities, very pretigious, but a new kid on the block.

Far Eastern University -- very good standard and have good alumni network in the Philippines and in the US

University of the East -- same with Far Eastern University (FEU)

Cebu Doctor's University -- very good standard and very reputable. It is based south of Manila about 150 kilometers, more or less.

Angeles University Foundation -- good standard and good for international students.

Mindanao State University-Iligan -- very cheap tuition but has excellent academic standard. good track record and good reputation. Its drawback is its location which is about 300 kilometers south of the capital city...

Xavier University -- same with Mindana State University.

I have an SAT I score of 1600
Critical Reading: 450, Math: 630, Writing: 520

I study at the American School of Brasilia. I am an international student and I do NOT need financial-aid.
My GPA is 3.9 and my avg is 91.

What would be my chances of being accepted at University College London, University of Bath, University of Nottingham? (intended major: Economics)

Which of those would be a safety school, medium, high reach?
