So, are you saying that the New York Times, Washington Post, and Los Angeles Times don't adhere to the highest journalistic standards? (Despite the fact that NYT and LAT continue to accumulate the highest journalism awards like Pulitzer Prizes...)

Oh, yeah. Journalists telling each other how wonderful they are! I bet you think the Oscars really indicate which movie is best!

Ever read foreign papers, e.g., Die Welt, Stern, Frankfurter Allgemeine, The Times (of London), just to see what serious people in other parts of this planet think of America?
Yep, and you know what? I really don't give a damn what a bunch of people whose tails we either kicked or saved think about us, especially when they can't keep their own houses in order.

Did you ever take a methodology class in history at USNA?
No. They were teaching us to be leaders, not journalists.

New York Times? Credible? Is this the same NYT that recently posted a story about an interview with the guy in the Abu Grahib stories, only to discover later they had been fooled? The same NYT that had to fire one of their reporters for falsifying stories? etc., etc.?

If you want a good indicator of just how seriously these paragons of objective information are taken, take a look at their circulation numbers which are going down, down, DOWN. They're laying off staff and (in the case of the NYT) selling off assets to manage.

Sorry to bust your bubble, but the traditional media sucks, is blatantly biased to the left, MAKES UP news rather than REPORTING news, and has become the laughingstock of all thinking people.

I am now ready to be called ignorant, close-minded, and simplistic because I choose NOT to get my news where the Liberals love to pontificate.
