So, I'm a sophomore at UCB and I am interested in double majoring. I'm currently a Media Studies major and I want to find something more...practical. I'm not into natural sciences or math. I am aware of going to grad school afterwards, but that's like my last resort. At this point, I'm just doing my absolute best in school and trying to find connections. I eventually want to work in the media industry. Does anyone have any good suggestion on what to pair my Media Studies major with? Or should I just not bother? Thanks in advance.

well, media studies majors got to see johnny depp yesterday…

Do you want to put in a lot of work or not. A lot of polisci and media studies courses overlap.

I was thinking about polysci, as well, but I’m thinking about minoring in Rhetoric. I’ve taken some of the lower division classes for Rhetoric and I really enjoyed it. I was considering majoring in English at first…

Take a class in a couple of the majors next semester and see what you like better. You can complete the double in your final 2 years. It’s easier because media studies is interdisciplinary and lots of classes overlap

Economics? Philosophy?
