Medical Anthropology?

<p>Hey, to all who read this thread, do any of you know which colleges have good anthropology programs (specifically medical) and pre-med? I was really interested in this major when I was reading the biography of Dr. Paul Farmer (if you don't know who he is, he is one of the founders of Partners in Health and a a professor at HMS) when I found that that he majored in Anthropology in college and when I found out what it was about, I was really interested. The only problem is that I want to find out the rankings for the best anthropology programs at colleges that also have good pre-med programs and currently I have had no luck.</p>

<p>Farmer is a very productive man, certainly a genius, and has accomplished a lot of good. With that said, the things he says really annoy me.</p>

<p>Anyway, just thought I would chime in - he did undergrad at Duke. He might well be our most famous alum (Grant Hill etc. not withstanding).</p>

<p>I mean, people don't do rankings at the undergrad level, much less for relatively obscure departments like anthro.</p>
