Medical DQ Waiver

My son has been medically disqualified due to a peanut allergy. Have any of you ever known a candidate who has received a waiver for a peanut allergy? If so, do you know what steps they took to help facilitate accruing it?

I’m not an expert on waivers (I haven’t looked much into it yet), but he probably cannot get in. However, he may be able to get into ROTC if he really wants to take the officer path, or he can just enlist and start from there. During your first year at WP, you will have upperclassmen breathing down your backs and counting how many times you chew your food, no joke. They will have you memorize the menu each day at about 6:25 in the morning and have you yell it out back to them at 100 mph. I don’t imagine them letting you choose what you eat, especially when you first get there. Good luck.
