USNA with a peanut allergy

hi! i am a junior in high-school, and i my grades and test scores are comfortably within the acceptable admission range at the USNA. however, i am severely allergic to peanuts. i have had this allergy all my life and require to carry an epipen wherever i go. does anyone know if this could prevent me from admission to USNA?

It is a disqualifying condition, however if you are competitive a waiver could be requested. It will be a tough one to overcome, though.

My son has recently been medically disqualified due to a peanut allergy. Have any of you ever known a candidate who has received a waiver for a peanut allergy? If so, do you know what steps they took to help facilitate accruing it?
