<p>I was wondering if you guys know of any internships (in research/hospitals), whether lasting just in the summer, or preferably year-round for high school students who are 14 years old. I live around the New York City area, but have yet to find an internship in the field of medicine for students to my age. </p>

<p>Don’t think this is possible. Unless as a volunteer, ie candistripper, newspaper cart. Anything beyond that I would say you would have to be at a minimum 16 years old.</p>
<p>If you look somewhat Mexican and act like you can only speak spanish, they might let you sweep the floors at night or clean the toilets.</p>
<p>what can you offer at 14? answer honestly…</p>
<p>It’s very unlikely you’d be able to find much other than something like visiting elderly and/or reading to patients due to liability issues with having someone so young in a lab.</p>
