Medical Prep Classes in High School

My high school offers Anatomy and Physiology (one class) as well as Medical Terminology. The teacher seems to be a doctor, but I am wary of these kinds of classes in a high school. Has anyone else seen classes like these at their high school or maybe taken them? Are they good choices, or just a failed attempt at high level courses?

There’s ROP classes that are legit. But other than that, I would be skeptical of Anatomy and Physiology. They’re a joke at my school and often thought of as breeze-through classes. A better choice would be to take an AP science or AP math.

You mean more than I am already going to take? Actually kids at my school say it is a hard class, so does that mean it is legit?

It’s depending on what kids are telling you it’s a hard class. It’s a joke class at my school too. I would go with an AP class if there’s one available. AP ALWAYS looks better. It’s going to look bad if ad come see that APs were available to you and you didn’t take them.

But if that’s the most challenging class there is, then take it.
