Medical School and College at the same time?

Hi everyone, I have recently heard of these programs that allow you to do Medical School and College at the same time! I have yet to ask my counselor about these programs, but anyone with information on them please comment! :-bd

The BS/MD programs are super competitive so you need to be a top student.

Also, they’re one after the other, regular college, then med school. You get admitted to a joint program, but you have to finish the regular college part before you move on to med school. You’re still looking at 7-8 years to an M.D.

-No always, although, it is not really clear. I know at least one accelerated program where you get your BS degree in the middle of the Med. School.
