I know that Kansas and Texas have programs that gives a bachelor and MD in 6 years instead of having to take the MCATS . I know northwest u, has a seven year program, and Washington University in ST. Louis gives 5 students the chance for a striaght 8 year medical program, I'm wondering if there are other programs similar to these.

Drexel U. Virginia Commonwealth University..except with VCU you take the MCAT...I'm also curious to know more about this..

I know its difficult to find these schools, but im thinking it must be easier during college to not be worried about taking the Mcats

Rochester and Case Western have special programs in which if you maintain a certain GPA (usually 3.6) you have direct admission to their medical school. Both are highly ranked so that may be something to consider for you...

i don't know about Rochester, but i do know the it is EXTREMELY difficult to get accepted to that program at Case. They do it for several pre-professionals, and medicine is their most competitive. Although i do know that if u get in, it's a really good program as long as you keep the GPA.
