Medical Schools for Reed Graduates

I'm interested in medical school post-college especially JHU or Penn. According to the Reed website (REED COLLEGE LIFE AFTER REED), reed graduates have been accepted to top northeastern medical schools such as Harvard, Yale, and Johns Hopkins.

How many students exactly have been accepted in the past ten years to Johns Hopkins, Yale, or Harvard? Is there any data on what kind of students were they i.e. GPA, what major or ec's?

Also, has anyone from Reed been accepted to Penn medical school?

Well, the kind of data you’re looking for is kind of hard to get because most people and institutions for that matter don’t publicise majors, GPAs, test scores etc. in relation to graduate/medical school acceptance.

If you happen to know people at Reed or anyone on this forum replies with examples of medical school acceptances from Reed they know of, it would be easier, but otherwise it’s hard to get this specific with data.

I ran a google search on “Reed+University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine” and got a few results, and found one person who is doing her post doctoral research there. So, there’s definitely one acceptance, if not more (though I’m not sure if that’s technically medical school).

This probably isn’t a question for the CC boards. You’re better off emailing one of the fine people on this page: [Reed College | Career Services |](http://web.reed.edu/career/graduate_and_prof_schools/med_school_health_care/index.html)
