Medieval studies/ history at Georgetown

Medieval studies/ history

I'm looking to transfer into the college at georgetown, and I'm currently a freshman at University of Delaware's honors program. I'm a history major here with a minor in medieval studies. GU offers a major in medieval studies..would it help to highlight the fact that GU's medieval program is far more advanced and far better than the one at UD and that attracts me? will that in any way help?? or is that a gimmicky reason to state for transferring...its not the only reason I want to transfer obviously but does anybody think it should be noted in my essays?

Yes, yes, no, yes.

i always thought i wanted to be a lawyer, but after taking a medieval course at UDel I think I might want to become a medievalist. Would that be the answer to the question regarding my future goals and how these goals are related to my interest to go to georgetown? is that a strong enough answer for this essay?

Yes.

In fact, I think wanting to attend to school because one of its programs is particularly strong can be among the best reasons there are for wanting to transfer! Don't sweat it: your reason is great. Just be sure to articulate them well.

Thank you very much.
