Medieval studies/ history

I'm looking to transfer into the college, and I'm currently a freshman at University of Delaware's honors program. I'm a history major here with a minor in medieval studies. GU offers a major in medieval studies..would it help to highlight the fact that GU's medieval program is far more advanced and far better than the one at UD? will that in any way help?? or is that a gimmicky reason to state for transferring...its not the only reason I want to transfer obviously but does anybody think it will help?

If a reason you are transferring is because you think GU's program is better, I think that's a good enough reason to say so, although I wouldn't say specifically "GU's program is better than UD's", rather, I would say that I respected GU's program and thought it would be useful in helping me acheive my future goals. On my application, I do remember saying that GU's FLL was a selling point for me (I mean, they do ask why you want to go there, and it was a reason).

Well, i want to be a medieval history professor and UDel doesn't offer a degree in this area....i guess thats a good reaon....?

I'd say as good a reason as any! :)
