Meeting foreign language requirement, confusion ensues...

When a school's foreign language requirement calls for "demonstrated proficiency equal to the intermediate level of college instruction" does that mean 2 or 4 semesters of foreign language?

If I were to complete the required level of foreign language prior to transferring, but in a language the school being transferred to does not offer, would it fulfill the requirement?

You should contact the school directly about their foreign langauge requirments. You can also get a degree plan out of the schools catalog (most of these are online) and it will give you an idea of what is required.

Possibly. If it is the same number of credit hours and from an accredited school, it should transfer, but again it would be best to contact the school.

Yea, I figured that was the answer. I guess I was hoping it would be easier, well I need to call a whole bunch of schools!
