Is it wise to mention a visit to a quite prestigious foreign(non-US and not from my country) university as an extracurricular activity in my supplemental essay for one top university? I didn't visit it on my own, I was awarded a visit there on a national competition. I loved the experience and it's certainly among the top 3 EC's I most enjoyed so far. Would mentioning another prestigious institution in my essay raise some eyebrows?

Not in this context.

Well, thanks for replying, but your post’s a bit ambiguous.

“Is it wise to mention…?”

Not in this context.

or

“Would mentioning[…]raise some eyebrows?”

Not in this context.

What’s the right way to read it?

If it’s prestigious enough, and you think it’ll boost your chances, go for it :)

Chance me? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1578414-low-gpa-but-strong-ecs-chance-me.html

@suryaslash: I’m not sure if it would boost my chances or not, I’d just like to write about it.
Any other advice?

It doesn’t matter just show what you learned

Yes, I would include it. Especially since you went there by way of a competitive award.
