Mentorship Program

Hi, I’m an incoming freshman at UMich and I was wondering if anyone had any insight on the Mentorship Program. I already signed the agreement form but I’m not sure if it’ll be too much to do Mentorship plus everything else that I’m doing (I’m in LSA Honors, taking 4 classes plus UROP, and will probably work part-time). I’m also hoping to commit to at least one club or an academic fraternity.

I’ve read about what the Mentorship Program entails, but I haven’t found anyone who knows inside details about time commitment, how helpful it is, etc. Any info would be appreciated! Thanks.

LOL I’m in the same exact position (honors, 4 classes, urop) ^^^ I don’t think it’ll be that bad though. i hope :confused:

If you’re working for work-study funds, see if you can do work-study UROP. Will conserve your time.
If you’re taking four classes…you really don’t want your research/work time to exceed about 10 hours a week.
