Merit Scholarships at UMICH (OOS)

<p>I was recently accepted OOS to the University of Michigan LSA. </p>

<p>I REALLY like the school, but I can't see my parents paying the hefty OOS price for a public school. If I get a full scholarship to UMich, I will go for sure. </p>

<p>How do I find full merit scholarships to UMich? Are there any for national merit or for minority students? </p>

<p>I'm in the top 3% of my class, have a 1600/2370 SAT, and attended TASP (UMich has a telluride house).</p>

<p>Some scholarship notifications arrive by letter about a week after acceptance; some big named ones have weekend events that you would hear about some time between December and February, but all are very very selective. Most people do not get scholarships based on merit.</p>
