Merit Scholarships for class of 2019

Hi all. I’m a parent of a current HS junior who is very interested in Villanova. She has excellent academic credentials at this point and I’m curious if Merit awards are possible. Just wondering what our expectations should be.

Appreciate if recently accepted students or current students/parents could share what they may have received and what their high level academic profile was coming out of HS.

My D currently has 4.6 weighted GPA (top 5 % of class) 33 ACT & 1380 New SAT score. Will more than likely look to try to increase ACT. ECs are Captain of her varsity sports team, various academic clubs, Marching Band, a number of academic awards, CCD instructor with our parish.

@Krj957 I am a similar student and came to Villanova last year. I got a merit scholarship, but Villanova offers precious few of these and all are under $10,000, barring the presidential scholarship.
