Merit Schols other than Apex and Summit?

My D qualified for the Summit Scholarship. (thanks UO!). Wondering when accepted students hear about any other consideration for merit schols. Or does receiving a Summit necessarily mean that the student will not receive merit aid over and above that?

Bumping, hoping for a response. Man the Oregon board is totally quiet.

My now freshman son received a Summit Scholarship last spring. He also received an additional general university scholarship on top of the Summit. So, yes, there can be a little more merit aid above the Summit. He did have to reapply for that scholarship this year. We hope he’ll get it. He’s having a wonderful experience at the U of O! Better than we ever could have imagined. And at such a good price!

Did anybody get invited to like a scholars dinner after getting awarded a scholarship? My dad seems to think we got a letter about this but I don’t remember it…

They recently announced Presidential Scholarships that are renewable for four years for$9000/year. Those who qualify for Summit and Presidential basically get their tuition fully covered, even with the additional costs for the Clark Honors College: an awesome deal!

Do you mean that they announced they are available? Or do you mean that they have notified the recipients?
Thanks.

@essayteacher are you referring to in-state of out-of-state costs? I’m OOS and the remaining total after the Summit and Freshman Enrichment awards is still a hefty 33k
