<p>If you were interested in practicing medicine, then the Stanfurd degree will give you more prestige. </p>
<p>However, if you are serious about medicine and want get an MD or PhD for medical RESEARCH, given the same packages for each school, 90% of graduate researchers would pick UCSF over Stanfurd to do serious AIDS cure kind of research. Ask around if you want to hear directly from people in the industry. They would know best.</p>
