Around how many incoming freshmen are accepted into the “Miami Commitment Program”?
Many of the merit scholarship students are invited, and there are many!
What is this?
This is a letter our son received, you can also find it on the web site:
Welcome to the 'Cane family! As the recipient of a University of Miami academic scholarship, you are invited to apply to the Miami Commitment Program, UM’s premier student employment program recognized for its leadership and career development success.
The Miami Commitment Program (available by invitation only) helps find jobs for incoming freshmen seeking participation in professional development activities and willing to commit to a higher degree of responsibility. A committee reviews all applications and selects students who best meet the program’s objectives.
Click here to access the three-part application. To be considered, you must submit the entire application, a resume, and a letter of recommendation. Completed applications must be postmarked no later than June 1.
