MIAMI UNIVERSITY Farmer's School of Business

I recently took the ACT for the second time in June. I received a 25 both times which is lower than the average 50% that is accepted into Farmer's. My cumulative GPA is a 3.7 and I am in NHS, student council, and a couple other school groups. I volunteer weekly and work about 15 hours a week. Is it still possible for me to get into Farmer's?

Honestly? As a direct admit as a freshman, I’d say no. It has gotten much harder to get in as a direct admit over the past few years. But you can still apply into the business school after freshman year. So keep your grades up. Requirements for acceptance are on their website and clearly defined. You can always take the ACT again, too. Both my boys were accepted as direct admits (one went, one didn’t) with ACT’s of 28 from a top 100 high school out of state with many business credits from our local SUNY school.
