just found out that I was accepted to the Miami Bridges Program which comes with a $10,000 scholarship over a 4 year period!

^Congrats to you! Is that your first acceptance? Do you think you will go?

D1 and D2 both attend MU. H and I visited D2 (first year) last weekend for family weekend and D2 now loves Miami too! We’re so happy for her! We were concerned as it was not her first choice (first choice was more money than we were willing and spend and more than we felt necessary to get a good undergraduate education.) She is now glad she did not go to her first choice (small LAC) She loves her classes, the size and the other students. We’re thrilled.

Congratulations and Good luck with your decisions!

Thank you! I also was accepted to ohio university, but my top choice is miami

^You can get much more Merit $$ after first year. Make sure to file FASFA, maintain college GPA =3.8+ and most importantly apply to Returning student scholarships by March of every year. You might be very pleasantly shocked how much $$ are available there (primarily by private donors). And more so for Juniors / Seniors from their departments, they literally shower high performers with Merit scholarships. But Miami likes you to file FASFA for their Merit scholarships. We have been following thier rule with great success.

I was also accepted to the bridges program! Does this mean I have a higher chance of being accepted to the university or not?
