Miami University or The Ohio State University?

I’m narrowed down my choices of a university to either Miami University or The Ohio State University. I’ve seen some threads here talking about the same thing, but I’d like some personal answers.

Most people would be able to choose based on what they want to major in, but I have no idea what I want to do. I got a $6k scholarship to Miami, but nothing to OSU. I’ve heard Miami has this stigma of being snobby, and while this doesn’t really bother me personally, I’m wondering if future employers will care or not.

I’ve visited both and liked them, but am a little disappointed that there’s nothing but cornfields around Oxford, but again, it’s not such a big deal.

Please, I’m really struggling with this decision. What is the best choice for an undecided?

If “snobbiness” of graduates were an issue with employers, lots of schools would never place their students in jobs.

Make a list of pros and cons of each school; this might help you decide what is important or not at each school, and thus give you some guidance.

All other things being equal, go with the school that will make the most sense economically (and I presume that you’ve had a long talk with your parents about the economics of attending college, including comparative costs of attendance of these two schools).
