when do we find out about merit based scholarships?

The MICA website says April 19th.

gahhh that's so far away...

thank you, though

they're being sent out on the 12th.

I just got mine today. My life is now 100% more complicated. I just wanna pick a freakin school and go with it..... it just goes on and on.

Let me guess........ MICA is going to be $12-15000 cheaper per year than RISD?

Go MICA!

I don't mean to sound like a snot or anything. I really like both schools. Its just really hard to decide because they are both so great. It will definately be cheaper, RISD is a bit stingy. Congrats to everyone who got scholarships.

D got significant merit $$ from MICA last year, making the out of pocket cost about the same as Cooper Union. She is just finishing freshman year and has had an enjoyable if exhausting time.

Best of luck to all in the decision making process. To echo Taxguy, there is something to be said for graduating with as little debt as possible.
