Michigan Chances

Hi, I am sure that this type of question is asked a lot so forgive me if I am boring anyone, but I am pretty curious. I want to apply to Michigan and I was wondering if someone could approximate the likelihood that my application would be considered "right in the thick of thigns". I know that nobody can tell me for certain whether I would or would not get into a school, but if someone could approximate for me the level of consideration I would receive from Umich Ann Arbor (low consideration, medium, high) with with the following:

Caucasian, White, Upper Middle Class, Suburban Baltimore, attending very prestigious/difficult inner city catholic college preparatory school.

3.75 GPA
700 Verbal
690 Math
700 Writing
AP US History 4
AP English 4
AP Gov 4
AP microeconomics 4
AP Euro History (senior year)
AP English Lit. and Comp (senior year)

This year (senior year) I will be taking introduction to calculus and Physics as well. There is a chance I might be able to take Honors Calculus, but for conservative estimates assume that I am only taking intro to calculus

Outside of School:
I did about 30 hours of service my junior year and a service trip this summer
I played on the tennis team and helped out with the basketball team (did not play)
Wrote for the school newspaper
National Honors Society
I have worked at a law firm for the last four summers

Please provide me with any suggestions and comments about my chances

I am applying to LSA

Hey! I'm happy to chance you ... because I'm a Michigan fan!!!

Your GPA is slightly below average, but I think that your attendance at a prestigious high school will help and that you've had a pretty challenging courseload. Your SAT of 2090 depends on whether your an IOS or OOS. If you're an IOS, you're okay. If you're an OOS, I suggest that you retake the SAT and aim for a 2150 or more or take several SAT Subject Tests. You should aim for calculus, because Michigan does like people who take Calc. Your ECs are decent but not the best; however, working at a law firm for the last 4 summers is something that will make your app stand out.

Overall, you're a decent student based on your stats, but your experience at a law firm will help you out, especially if you're a prospective law major.

Chances:
-UMich: Slight reach (OOS), Match (IOS)
