hey guys, I'm bit confused whether to pursue an Interdisciplinary Engineering major that focuses on breadth rather than depth (for example IOE major). I understand it all depends on my career goals in future (maybe looking for decent job regardless of industry). But is it worth to pursue such major that's not ABET accredited or suck it up and stick to IOE. Oh Statistics and Probability in advanced classes are not going into my likening at all. Maybe I am considering interdisciplinary engineering with minor in Environment.

But from what I understood, the engineering degree I will be getting is from Michigan and as an institution it ranks "pretty" high in almost every aspect and it's "as long as from Michigan"

Thanks for all feedbacks!!
