This was discussed earlier @outlooker
@aao1997 I’ve been following this thread since it was created…I must have missed it. Where was it discussed?
Idk pages 6 and 7? @outlooker
in hawaii and i havent gotten my scores
also cant access online because my school didnt give me my ACT ID…
Now that we actually have the scores available, can we come to a consensus of how lenient the scoring was this time?
From what I’ve heard the science curve must have been harsh. It is most people’s lowest score. Most of the people I’ve talked to in the 30-33 range were 27-28. English, however, seemed much easier.
english 30
math 25 (wtf)
reading 32
science 27
composite: 29
im ok with this
@outlooker I can’t be certain, but here’s my scores and my predictions off of how many I think I got wrong.
English 35 (-1 or 2)
Math 29 (-10 or 11)
Reading 32 (-4 or 5)
Science 27 (- 7)
Again these are just my guesses but I’m usually okay about guessing how many I got right or wrong!
I wish they would publish the curve along with our test scores.
Nah that’d be too much extra work on their part
Anyone else still not have a score???
So rumor has it at my school that you can call ACT and they will give you your ACT score. Can anyone confirm if this is true?
@Sheethaaaa13 Pretty sure that’s not true.
My score were finally online today!!! I did okay but I’m going to retake it.
comp: 30
english :25 (usage 12, rhetorical14)
math: 26 (basic algebra 15, coord. geometry 11, trig: 15)
reading:35 (social studies 18, arts 17)
science: 33
writing: 10
I want to get a 32. How hard would it be to do that? Are there any review books that you would recommend or any tips particularly with math and english?
It should be relatively easy to raise up your English score, just take practice tests out of the red book and look at the grammar in a review book(Barron’s 36 helped a lot), as for math, I trying to figure out how to raise that too
My son took the March 3rd Michigan state wide exam, with writing, score was in the mailbox on Saturday April 11th. He was quite surprised by the score. His previous practice tests were 31-31-32. He scored a 35 on this test. Sweet!
Still no scores in IL…I’m outraged.
How do you get your score online? I got my scores through the mail weeks ago but I have absolutely nothing online. I never got my claim code
Composite: 30
