Did anyone

else take the ACT's today? We did and i was wondering if any other juniors in michigan did....

i think i owned it, it was way easier than the practice tests ive been taking

Well I'm a senior but it's good to feel confident! The first time I took my ACT I thought I did terrible and ended up getting a 26!

Good Luck!

Yeah i borrowed an ACT test prep book and the tests were really hard.

The real ACT i thought was easy, for science all you had to do was read the question and it basically told you what to look for in the graph. Math had some hard questions, but i fell i got at least a 27 on it.

Testing continues tomorrow for the MME and workkeys i think or something like that. I guess these ones are easier

I took the ACT today, and will countinue with MME tomorrow also ( Lansing School District). I know I didn't do well on the ACT which is why I removed all the universities I was going to have the score sent out to. I'm going to try to retake the ACT as soon as possible ( yes I know it cost). I really didn't get any sleep, besides 3-4 hours. I had spent most of the night looking for my student ID. I just couldn't focus while taking the test, halfway through I felt really tired. When it came to the science part, I just couldn't read all of it word for word due to the lack of sleep. So yeah, a lot went wrong I guess. Though I'm glad I will still have the option to retake the test, but hopefully I did well enough for to meet AYP.

That sucks coolbreeze, i feel for you. I was real nervous but got a lot of sleep and focused. I had like 15 minutes left on some sections like the english, so i went over every answer and found 3 or 4 that i didnt read in depth on, and changed them. It went real well

What colleges were you planning to send scores to? MSU had to be one i assume lol

At least tomorrow test is easy i heard and it helps you get the promise scholarship i think

I think every junior took the ACT today... lol.

The MME is ridiculously easy. Like, half the class laughed at the first problem (it was literally an addition problem).

I know it was like a test to see if you were mentally slow.

Yes MME seems to be very easy, though I must say there are some questions that take time. Most questions seemed more like a 8th grade test to me.

I had planned to send my first test scores to: Michigan State University, University of Michigan- Ann Arbor, University of Wisconsin- Madison, and Pennslyvania State University- University Park. Though since I know I didn't do well, and will be retaking the ACT I'll just wait.

A lot of colleges out of state look appealing to me, but even though im not that close or attached to my parents, i cant really see myself leaving the state.

I sent to : U of M, MSU, University of Detroit Mercy, and like USC or some school i'll never go to just messing around

I cant wait to see if I did as good as I thought I did haha. My luck ill have like a 20

I know I didn't do good on the ACT at all this first time. I just wasn't prepared for I only had 3-4 hours of sleep. I couldn't read anythign word for word, wasnt focus, and nearly felt like I could just doze off. I'm really trying to retake the test this April, I will try to ask a counsler about it at school Monday. I think I rather not even see the March score.

Im just worried that i did horrible on the MME science. Math and social studies were so easy, but I had no clue on a ton of science questions. Mostly about elements and chemistry related things (a course im taking next year).
