@ForeverAlone please stop the name calling. You are both trying to help Bigpapi, not start a row!
That is a tough decision. My kid is in Ann Arbor, but Austin is amazing!

that’s not comparing apples to apples.
Everybody knows Ross is better than McCombs non-BHP overall. That was never in question.
BHP quality is comparable to Ross. If OP said his son got into McCombs but didn’t get into BHP, that would be a different scenario.
Since BHP is a step ahead of the rest of of McCombs (assuming they account for the top 15%), they will most likely perform roughly 1 standard deviation above the mean of McCombs students.
You’re assuming that they didn’t hire any because they didn’t present their figures in the format you would like.
That’s faulty reasoning. By that same logic, undergrad B-schools such as Stern, Mendoza, and Sloan who don’t disclose it in the same format as Ross are not as good.
That said, since OP has mentioned that finances are a consideration, if Texas is the cheaper option, then he should go there. Similarly, if Ross is the cheaper option, then he should go there instead.
Even if Finances are equal, can’t go wrong with BHP or Ross. Go for best fit.
Why is everyone debating a few thousand dollars of average salary? I find that to be a really silly point of comparison. OP’s son should go for best fit. It’s really that simple.
Alexandre couldn’t find the numbers on the website on his first post.
But it is now settled.
I agree. Go with best fit. If OP’s son works hard at either Ross or McCombs, then he will be more than fine.
Yes, you can tell the recruiter.
Will it happen without penalizing your chances? Would not bet on it.
