Alright, I know that this is silly, admissions are subjective, blah, blah, blah. I would just love a bit of feedback. The criteria for getting into the honours program is above a 1250 (or around there) on your SAT, and then a class rank (which we don't do). Now, I attended the weekend for Honours Program applicants, and spoke to the Director of Admissions, and she said that because my high school does not rank, that the rest of my application will be used to decide placement.

GPA (The low point of my application): 3.60
SAT: 2130, or 1440
AP: World History, 5; US History, 5; English Lang&Comp, 5; European History, 5; Psychology, 5. This means that, going into my senior year, I already have AP Scholar with Distinction standing.
I am a National Merit Scholarship contender.
Courses Next Year: AP US Government, AP Literature, AP Spanish Language, AP Physics C, AP Macroeconomics, AP Microeconomics, AP Human Geography* and AP Comparative Government*.

*These are not courses that my school offers. Rather, I did them independently, and then challenged the exams.

I am head counsel on my school's Mock Trial team, which placed third in New York State last year, I am Editor-in-Chief of my school newspaper, Editor-in-Chief of my school literary magazine, a lead in the musical for the past two years, and presumably this year as well, and I am Soprano section leader in my school's elite choir.

I am a teacher/grade leader in my local parish's Vacation Bible School every summer, and help run and organize the Western New York Down's Syndrome Association Christmas party every year.

I plan to go into the James Madison College and major in International Relations, but because of my AP credits, I will double major in History. If all works out with my AP exams from senior year, I've been told that I may triple major, and this would presumably be in a foreign language.

Please let me know what you think about my chances for the Honours College, or MSU in general!
