Michigan State University vs Texas A&M for Undergraduate Finance

As of yesterday, I have been accepted both to Texas A&M and Michigan State University. I got into MSU Honors (I haven’t applied to TAMU honors yet; waiting for my ED rejection letter from NYU first). I have applied to other schools other than these three, but MSU and TAMU would be significantly cheaper than say, GWU or Tulane (I would pay in-state for TAMU and I got 15k a year from MSU). So, which of the two is better for undergraduate business - my intended major is finance. I can’t find a whole lot of information about the business schools specifically online other than their graduate schools
Thanks!

What university as a whole do you like better? TAMU is in a special class by itself for a very large university. The way that the Corps of Cadets impacts life at TAMU happens nowhere else. Even if you are not part of it.

What put MSU on your application list in the first place?

Do you want to live and work in Texas when you graduate?

I want to live wherever I can find a job that will pay me the most

The jobs picture will be better in Texas for the foreseeable future. Alumni networks are going to be stronger in local areas, and Texas has 3-4 strong major metro areas with good jobs growth. If you are planning to go to graduate school it will not matter all that much.

A&M is considered a better school, but MSU is no slouch either and you basically get a nonresident tuition waiver. You would pay double to go to A&M, but the benefit would be negligible. I’d go with MSU.
