Michigan State vs Loyola Chicago vs Virginia Tech vs Dayton

I’m a rising senior interested in studying business in college. I have most of my reaches and matches set in my list. However, I’m having a hard time selecting which safeties I should apply to. I’d like to limit myself to 2 (maybe 3) of these schools to apply to. Considering I’m instate, MSU is probably a no brained because of the lower tuition and it probably has the best business school out of the 4.
Any additional help to choose which safeties I should apply to would be appreciated, thanks everyone

I visited the University of Dayton and really liked it. They are super transparent with their merit scholarships and have a chart explaining what scholarship amount corresponds to different ACT scores and GPAs. Definitely check that out and see if it could be affordable to you. Safeties should be schools that you not only know you can get into but schools that you know you can afford.

Definitely keep MSU.

What’s your budget? EFC?

Run the NPC on Loyola Chicago, UDayton, but also MiamiOhio, UCincinnati, (Pitt if your act is 35…), Iowa…

If you’re certain you want to study business, avoid scools where you won’t be admitted directly to the business program (at some schools you might be admitted to the university, but you have to apply to the business program after a year or so).
