Business Safeties?

So can anyone recommend me somthing like 4 or 5 good business safeties

Thanks =)

Well I dunno what you are looking for...

Babson, Bentley, Penn State, UMD, American, George Washington, SMU, TCU, Trinity (San Antonio), U of Miami, Emory

Santa Clara, Loyola Marymount, Arizona State, U of Iowa

Indiana is the best business safety. If your stats are fairly good, you get an automatic direct admit to the Kelley School. PLUS- it is rolling admissions so you will know early on that you are in. It is a highly ranked business school and a great campus.

MomofWildChild,

Kelley's criteria for "freshmen admission by invitation", as stated on their website are: top 10% ranking and 1270 SAT (or 29 ACT). Do you know if these are the minimum requirements? If so, what does it take realistically to be admitted into the program directly?

I really don't know. You should call admissions and ask. I think if you have the minimum, you are in. If you are short a few points, a strong personal statement could do the trick, but I am not an Indiana admissions person.

Thanks a lot!!

for all of this!

How good is Babson?

It ranked somewhere in the 20's for Business schools

Yeah Indiana's Kelly program is very good. The best safety for business

Dot hese schools have any business at all or just economics @ undergraduate level:

Stanford
Harvard
Princeton
Yale
University of Florida
Emory
Columbia
Cornell
Boston College
Virginia Tech (Pamplin)
University of Arizona
University of Chicago

I know Boston College and Emory do for sure, but you can check available majors on Collegeboard.com

Notre Dame has undergrad business also schools like Holy Cross have accounting /econ majors. Babson has decent reputation -good alumni network.

What are your stats? A safety for some might be a reach for others...or vice versa.

GoCollege certain schools will be tougher to get into then others. For schools with decent reputations such as Bentley and Babson your SAT's will need to only be in the high 1200's or low to mid 1300's. For tougher schools such as Emory look for at least a 1400

Hey Dunk you mean 1200/2400 ???

400 in each section?

No silly he's talking about Math+CR
