So, I just found out (after weeks of trying to get a response out of Wes's admissions office), that, due to a mix-up by my school counselor, my Mid-Year got sent to Wesleyan COLLEGE, rather than Wesleyan University. It's spring break, so I can't fax it over till next Monday. Is it too late to get it in? :(

im sure the last acceptances will be sent out throughout this week and next week. dont worry yet!

what happened when you tried to contact Wes admissions? did you call or email? I'm pretty sure all decisions have been made by now, but I'd try to get it in anyway, especially if you had strong fall grades (and wind up getting waitlisted)

I e-mailed/called, and they kept telling me they'd check to see if they had it, but then never got back to me. :\ I only figured out what must have happened today, when I got a very nice note from Wesleyan College. My fall grades were reaaaally good, which was the main reason I wanted Wes to see them. Oh well, hopefully they didn't just reject me out of hand and they'll rethink a potential waitlisting when they see them. Otherwise... :(

Don't worry, I bet things will be sorted out in one way or another. I'm SURE Wesleyan has dealt with similar situations in the past, since there are zillions of schools called "Wesleyan".

Our local high school requires that the student provide stamped addressed envelopes with all transcript requests, as well as a list of school names and addresses. Isn't that standard?

There is no standard practice calgirl, it depends on the high school. Some schools even use a contracted external transcript service. Perhaps this sort of mix-up will encourage the OP's school to do it differently in the future.

I did provide stamped envelopes, but apparently the registrar's office disregarded them? I spoke to them about it and they said that they'd wound up looking up/sending Mid-Years regardless of whether or not envelopes were provided. ARGH. I did finally get in touch with Wes, though, and they said it would be fine if I sent it Monday. Thanks for everyone's help! Heh.
