Mid-year Grades Submission

After logging into the mid-year grades submission website, I entered my grades and hit submit. Is it normal for you to be able to log in after and see the same form but with the grades you've just entered and the option to submit again? Also, do we send in our report card and write "Mid-year Report" on the envelope after submitting online? Thanks.

yes this happened to me as well…I think it is probably normal don’t worry too much.

Exactly! Do I have to have my mid-year transcript officially sent over to USC after submitting electronically?

^^ Same question here. Can we send a report card ourselves or do they want an official transcript from our counselors? Also, is there a form to go with it?

I can’t access the camel site so I had the official transcript sent. I hope that works.

So I called the USC office of admissions yesterday and the representative on the phone told me that you can submit your grades on the website now. However, if they request to see your mid-year grades then you would have to send in your report card/transcript in addition to submitting it online. But this does not happen until later so be patient.

bumping this in hopes of getting an answer to the OP’s question. My son had the same problem - submitted online, but then afterward it’s still possible (or so it seems) to log in and submit them again. How do we know if the submission went through?

I emailed my local USC rep yesterday and asked about the the online/hardcopy mid-year transcript submission:

"I have recently just received the letter from USC regarding scholarship updates. The letter also specifically asks for my mid-year report for fall semester, while I have already reported my senior grades online through USConnect before the letter arrived. I’m just wondering if it’s necessary to send in another hard copy of my transcript to the admission office; if so, does it have to be officially sealed and sent by my school?

Thanks in advance for the clarification."

and this is the reply I got:

"If you’ve already submitted your fall grades online, you’re all set and can ignore that letter. "

Well I hope USC adcoms aren’t reading the CC posts too closely (if they do at all), since it would be pretty easy to figure out who I am given the exact email exchange above…But not like I’m saying anything against them, after all ;P

mimizist, thanks, but not what I was asking. Is there a way to be sure the online submission has gone through when the the “submit” button won’t go away?

I know, shreddermom, my reply was referring to post#3 and #4.

My “submit” botton went gray after I submitted mine, but I’m still able to see all my grades in text boxes. Below the buttons there is a line in red: Your Mid-Year School Report has been submitted.

When did you sumbit yours? I don’t remember this too well, but I had this vague memory of going through the same thing as you at first except I didn’t really bother. Then a few days later it just got sorted out on its own.
