Mid-Year Grades

Hi all!

So for mid-year grades, since we have to self-report them how does it work? My school goes by quarters and I did really well the first quarter but the second is eh. I had a 93 in Calculus and now its an 82 because i was barely in class because of how anemic i am, hence attending first period is so hard. (USC knows about this) Also, midterm exams also just happened which were really hard. Anyways, i know my grades will be lower compared to first quarter. Also I had a 98 in Government honors but now a 90 because the course got harder. Nonetheless, how would I report this on the USC website? Do I just average them? That would help way more…But also does my guidance counselor send my mid-year grades as well? I am so confused…ahhh!!!

Your guidance counselor/school registrar or whoever is responsible for it at your school submits a mid-year grade report. Yours should be consistent with that.

@CADREAMIN Yes, but my school sends both quarters but online it only gives a box for one grade each…?

@nammyohorengekyo They are asking for your semester average grade. If unsure what that may be, you may wish to ask your GC as to how they would average it.
