Mid Year Report and Senior Year

@ post number 2:
by what authority does vicissitude have to be a credible source? that would be nice if it were true, because I got all A’s first quarter but some really low B’s second.

City mom 2 is me lol

How much would I be disadvantaged if I just scored bad in one subject in my Mid Year Grades? Like for my A Levels first year finals, I had
-Computing A*
-Physics A*
-Economics A*
-Mathematics A
-Chemistry A
but in my Mid Year Report, I have
-Computing A*
-Physics A*
-Mathematics A*
-Economics A
-Chemistry C
So the main grade change is an A to a C for Chemistry, but the rest is pretty good. Does that put me at too much of a disadvantage?

Similar story here…

I am an international student and my school follows the IB curriculum. My first semester in my senior year was CRAZY. I had IAs, EE, TOK essay, CAS ,Applications, SATs… and tons of other stuffs to do. Also taking 4 Higher Levels(MATH, CHEM, PHYSICS, and German)…hahaha was like hell… So my grades dropped like a lot.

My 11th grade marks are
IB Chemistry HL 93 A
IB Physics HL 93 A
IB Math HL 88 B+
IB German HL 91 A-
IB English SL 89 B+
IB Economics SL 96 A
TOK(Theory of Knowledge) 90 A-
(My adjusted GPA is 3.89…)

My…12th grade first semester marks are…

IB Chemistry HL 77.9 :frowning: C+
TOK(Theory of Knowledge) 91.7 A-
IB German B HL 91.6 A-
IB English SL 81.7 B-
IB Physics HL 87.2 B+
IB Economics SL 93.8 A
IB Math HL 78.4 :frowning: C+
(My adjusted GPA is now 3.47…)

I am really worried because my SATs weren’t good either.
Does having two C+ in my senior year ruin my future?

Waleedzaf and Mia, welcome to College Confidential. Here’s a tip for new users: check the dates on the posts in the thread before you respond. You’ve just posted to a conversation that began five years ago, and that nobody had contributed anything substantial to in almost 3 years. People on College Confidential hate this!

But if something you read in an old thread causes you to have a new question, you’re welcome to start a thread of your own and post your question to it.

LOL I just realized that, thank you :)
